Taylor Swift was the most gorgeous bridesmaid at the weekend

Written by Katie Byrne, published 4th september

Ooh, look what you made her do: Taylor Swift stepped up to play bridesmaid at her best friend’s wedding at the weekend.

Swapping topping the chart for walking down the aisle, the singer (pictured left with Abigail last year) donned a wine-coloured halterneck gown to help Abigail Anderson as she said ‘I do’. She paired the burgundy frock with a deep-red lipstick and a bouquet of seasonal flowers, wearing her blonde bob in pretty curls.

According to E!, a source suggested Taylor may have been Maid of Honour at the celebration; whilst she wore the same colour as the other bridesmaids, she was the only one who wore the halterneck-style dress.

Meanwhile, Abigail stunned in a strapless Stella York wedding dress, which was adorned with delicate floral embroidery.

Abigail and her beau, photographer, Matt Lucier, tied the knot on the island of Martha’s Vineyard, Massachussetts. The ceremony took place at Old Whaling Church, with Taylor spotted undertaking the ultimate bridesmaid duty: holding the bride’s train as they entered the beautiful venue.

Of course, this isn’t the first time Taylor has played bridesmaid; watch the Maid of Honour speech she gave at the wedding of Brittany Maack here.
