POLL: how would you feel if another couple got engaged at your wedding?

POLL: how would you feel if another couple got engaged at your wedding?

Would it not phase you - or would it leave you fuming? We want to know!

Earlier this week, a letter sent by a newly-married bride to an Agony Aunt hit headlines. The problem? The bride was unsure whether or not she and her husband could continue their friendship with their Best Man, who had also doubled up as officiant at their recent wedding.

Mid-way through the ceremony, said Best Man put a halt on proceedings to announce to their congregation that his girlfriend was pregnant and then, much to the bewilderment of the bride and groom, got down on one knee and proposed to her.

As the bride summed up in her letter: "I’ve never been an attention hog, and I wouldn’t even have minded if he’d proposed after the ceremony, but weeks later I am still seething. I am so shocked and angry that I keep asking myself if this is real life".

Read the story in full here!

However, it's not always quite so intense. We've seen some stories where the bride and groom have actually helped to set up proposals at their receptions.

So now we're wondering: how would you react if someone proposed to their partner at your wedding?

Vote in our poll below - we'd love to hear your thoughts!
