Wedding moodboard: luscious greenery and natural details

Wedding moodboard: luscious greenery and natural details

The greenery trend just got elegant...

Embrace a balance of nature’s elegance and a whimsical romance with this soft design created with delicate hues of cream, grey and blues, a palette to soothe the base of earth textures; wood, succulents and ivy.

Inspired by 2017’s greenery trend, simple accents add a clean, modern woodland feel to this ambience.

Use an old tree to create a dramatic canopy for the wedding breakfast with low hanging branches.

Continue the wooden theme with your table, softened by succulents, gold flourishes and sweeping fabrics.

Go for lush blooms such as roses, peonies and dahlias for a perfect springtime look – incoporating soft blush colours looks classy and timeless against the greenery.

Avoid anything too shiny to keep with the natural theme, and experiment with different textures and metals to really make a statement.

It’s the attention to detail and the accessories that really make this scheme – the unusual suspended hoop seating plan is simply showstopping, as is the delicious-looking wedding cake adorned with succulents and grapevine.

Metal cake stands used to display plants is easy to replicate, yet still looks well thought out and enhances the greenery-meets-woodland theme. This is a wedding reception with a difference.

Steal the look
