It's one of the most traditional elements of a wedding - and one of the most photogenic, too!
Wearing a veil on your wedding day? Yay! Whether you've opted for a chin-length bird-cage design, a floaty cathedral creation or something somewhere in between, a bride's veil is highly symbolic - traditionally representing the 'consumation' of the marriage when lifted by the groom - and also oh-so gorgeous. Like, for real.

Your veil makes for so many gorgeous photo opportunities that you really must make the most of them - and let's be honest, how many other occasions will you get to wear one? (We can answer that for you. NEVER. Unless you dress as a bride for Halloween, of course.)

So with all that in mind, we thought we'd bring you a gorgeous little round-up of the ways you can use your wedding veil to create some lasting memories and some heavenly photos. Enjoy!
If you have children, this adorable under-the-veil shot isn't to be missed.
It also works just as beautifully with flower girls and page boys.
In a similar vein, make the most of you sitting under it!
Show your veil to your photographer in advance so they can start thinking of ideas for the most wow-worthy pictures.
Reflective shots are so evocative and gorgeous.
Especially when there's a veil involved!
Make sure you get some shots that show the exact length of it.
Make sure you get some breathtaking shots at your venue, too.
Think sweeping down stairs, climbing the steps to your altar, standing against a window as the sun streams in, your veil fully laid out behind you...
