Becky and Christopher exchanged their vows against a backdrop of meaningful music and fun
Becky, 25, a doctor, and Christopher, 27, a chemistry teacher, married at Leez Priory in Essex.
It was important to us that our venue was in Essex, as we're both Essex born-and-bred. Leez Priory was stunning inside and out, and really took our breath away!
Music is a big part of our relationship, so we used it as a subtle theme in our wedding. I walked down the aisle to Heartbeats by Jose Gonzalez, which made everyone cry!
My wedding dress was from Jenny Packham - that says it all, really! It was a glamorous chiffon number, which meant I felt really comfortable all day.
Chris hired a suit from Moss Bros, and wore a tie and cravat in a similar shade of turquoise to the bridesmaids' dresses.
I wanted my bridesmaids to wear full-length dresses. We chose gowns which were also made of chiffon, meaning they matched my wedding dress. They looked beautiful.
Our first dance song was No Other Way by Paolo Nutini, which is a great blues-y love song. It was perfect. Music was really important to us - we spent hours on our playlist and wanted a band that meant a lot to us, and that everyone would love. We found a great Beatles tribute act, who didn't let us down!
We wanted favours people could keep - we bought champagne glasses from Ikea and dipped the bases in blackboard paint with each guest's name on.
My advice for brides-to-be...
Plan ahead. I'm usually not very organised but for the wedding made sure everything was planned in plenty of time. It meant the last couple of months were stress-free!
